 Chrome Tambourine Dancer
French chromed lady dancing with a Tambourine. Although unsigned this figure was apparently designed by Guiraud Riviere. I also have this same lady figure with a clock set (ref CL81). Email me if you require any pics of the clock or more of this piece. She measures approx 17 inches high and is mounted on a 3.5 inch square marble base. Condition is basically good with some pitting to the chromed patina and a mark on her foot which may be a dent under the chrome. Hence £495 Ref: F2331 . . . £495 |

A 15 inch unsigned spelter lady cymbol dancer on stepped black marble base. Condition is good with some age wear to the patina and a few chips and scratches to the marble.

 Ostrich Family Group
An unusual and cute spelter family group of ostriches in full stride on a lovely mixture of rosso marble, black striated white marble and grey marble strips on a layer of beige marble. The birds have a bronzed patina with lovely feather and tail feather detail. This piece is apparently unsigned, in good overall condition with no damage or repairs and unusually good marble with no chips. Measures: 20 inches long, 5.5 inches deep and 13 inches high.

 Bending Tree man by J. De Roncourt
French spelter man levering a tree, a signed statue by Joe De Roncourt. He has a dark greeny bronze patina and the base is made of spelter and black marble. Measurements are approx and can be confirmed - 16 inches long by 12 inches high (41cm x 31cm). Signed and in good condition.

Toucan Desk Tidy by Franjou
French spelter Toucan holding a nut, this is the larger version and he has glass eyes in typical Moreau style. This is one is however signed Franjou which I believe may have been a pseudonym used by Moreau. It is mounted on a black and white striated marble base that measures 11.25 inches by 7 and the bird has a total height of 5.5 inches (29cm x 18 x 14). The base has a metal pen cup and front pen groove. Condition is very good.

Large Bending Bar Man by J. De Rochart
French green patinated spelter male bending a bar over his knee. A large powerful sculpture, he measures 21 inches long by 18 high by 15 deep (54cm x 46 x 38). Base is made of fossilised marble and signed J. De Rochart. Condition is exceptionally good.

Early and original Le Verrier art metal nude dancer, made in the 1930's. Signed to the metal socle Le Verrier, she is mounted on a black marble base and measures a total height of 10 inches (26cm). In good vintage condition.

Amazone aux Javelot by Le Faguays
This is the small version of Amazone (I have several including the large one). She has a dark green patina and is signed Fayral to the base (a pseudonym used by Pierre Le Faguays). This one also retains a shop sticker to the back of the base - Grandiu Le Primo Le Havre. She measures a total height of 12 inches to her top hand (31cm). Condition is good but she has the tip of one finger missing.

The Snail Catcher
French silvered spelter nude lady with a sack full of snails. Mounted on a pink marble base that measures 24 inches long by 8 deep and the total height of the statue including the base is 10 inches (61cm x 20 x 26). The lady is leaning over a mirrored pond with a bird sitting on the edge, presumably telling the bird off for pinching her snails which are escaping from the sack behind her. Condition is good with some small repairs to the marble base and edges of the onyx pond wall.
