Small Female Spelter Figures 12

Small Olympie by Le Faguays
This is the smaller model of Olympie by Pierre Le Faguays (signed in his pseudonym Fayral). Signed to the back of her leg and bearing the Le Verrier foundry stamp. She measures 11 inches high (28cm). The larger version measures 19.5 inches high (50cm) I have the larger one also for sale in large spelter figures section. Condition is very good.

Ref: F3020 . . . £765

Tambourine Dancer
French silvered metal lady dancing with a Tambourine. Although unsigned this figure was apparently designed by Guiraud Riviere. I also have this same lady figure with a clock set (ref CL81). Email me if you require any pics of the clock or more of this piece. She measures approximately 17 inches high and is mounted on a 3.5 inch square marble base. Condition is basically good with some pitting to the finish and her foot which is attached to the base isn't as crisp as the other foot. Hence £495

Ref: F2331 . . . £495

Lady on illuminated base
A French spelter lady ball dancer on an alabaster light-up base, the light glowing through the alabaster, measuring 17.5 inches high. She has a silvered patina and is holding a pair of ivoreen balls. The base is a pyramid of onyx with a Portorro top section and the front is of alabaster. Condition is good with no apparent damage or repairs but the patina has some ageing as one would expect.

Ref: F2235

Disc Dancer by Derenne
A French silvered spelter nude measuring approximately 11 inches (28cm) high and on a 3.5 inch square (9cm) portorro marble base. A genuine 1920's/30's piece made by the Le Verrier foundry. Derenne was a pseudonym used by Marcel Bouraine, although this is signed Derenne to the metal base. This dancer usually has a pair of discs, but this one has only one, so has probably lost one - and is priced accordingly.

Ref: F953 . . . £495

Lorenzl Dancer
An unsigned spelter Lorenzl dancer, with gilt patina, mounted on an domed alabaster base, measuring a total height of 9 inches (23cm) and in very good original condition.

Ref: F1397 . . . £365

Spanish Dancer by Lorenzl
An unsigned spelter by Lorenzl standing on a stage of peach mirror glass, in turn mounted on an alabaster base measuring 11 inches (28cm) wide. To the back is a circle of peach mirror glass standing 14 inches (36cm) high and with diamond cut bevelling around the rim. Condition is very good with just minor foxing to the glass and a few minor ageing spots to the patina of the lady and what appears to be some residue of old glue at the right hand end of the alabaster mirror holder - barely visible.

Ref: F955 . . . £395

Striker by Lorenzl
Austrian cigarette lighter, an unsigned Lorenzl. It measures approx. 8 inches (20cm) high and has its original striker wand. Condition is vintage and used but good with just some minor paint loss.
