Harlequine by Le Faguays
French art deco spelter statue of a Harlequin. Designed by Pierre Le Faguays using his pseudonym - Fayral which is how he signed his art metal, non-bronze pieces. Stamped to the base Fayral. It measures 8.75 inches (223cm) tall including the Belgian black marble base. Condition is very good.

Cymbal Dancer
Stylish French, green patinated spelter nude dancer with cymbals and mounted on a black marble base by Cipriani. Condition is very good with just the usual age related marks. It measures 16.5 inches (42cm) high.

Surprise by Guerbe
A very rare version of this piece know as Surprise by Guerbe. Guerbe was the wife of Pierre Le Faguays. This piece is normally seen as a vide pooch dish. I can only presume this is a very early one made before it was made as a dish version. I have never seen another with a marble base, but the piece is genuine and as it should be. It measures 4.5 inches long by 7.5 inches high (11.5cm x 219cm). In excellent vintage condition and although unsigned, definitely by Guerbe.

Ref: F1958 . . . £495

Theatrical Dancer
Spelter lady in theatrical costume and mounted on an alabaster base measuring approximately 11 inches high and in very good condition.

Ref: F1177 . . . £565

French Spelter Statue
Egyptian themed spelter statue with a green patina and gold highlights. Signed to the base Guerbe, Raymond Guerbe was a pseudonym used by the wife of Pierre Le Faguays. She is holding two onyx balls, this same statue was also made as a lamp where she holds a fan with a bulb behind (I have one of these for sale on my website). Mounted on a marble base she measures 13.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep to the base and a total height of 18 inches (34cm x 11.5cm x 46cm). In excellent condition.

Ref: F3055 . . . £2,295

Josephine Baker by Balleste
French Art Deco spelter statue of Josephine Baker wearing a grass skirt. Mounted on an unusual onyx base and signed Balleste under her foot. She measures 15.5 inches high by 5 inches wide by 4 inches deep (40cm x 12.5cm x 10cm). I have never seen this statue before. Condition is very good with no damage or repairs.
