Table Lamps Page 18

Bronze Lady Lamp by St. Schwartz
Superb quality Austrian bronze lady playing a guitar sitting below a lamp post with floral detail growing up the post, which incorporates the lamp. The shade swivels around which allows a better view of the bronze lady. The base is of buff coloured onyx and the piece is signed to the bronze socle. I have had this figure previously, but only as a figure and never a lamp. The lampshade with this piece is the original and will probably need replacing, but to the purchasers taste. Height 25 inches (64cm), and base measures 11 x 8.5 inches (28 x 22cm). A wonderful, top quality bronze lamp - very usable and in wonderful original condition.

Lamp in the style of Adnet
French lucite and tortoiseshell galalith disc lamp with chrome stepped base, very similar to a design by Adnet. No signature so cannot be sure, but quite possibly designed by Jaques Adnet. Cream fabric shade with deco motif stencilling. Very good condition, apparently rewired with modern wiring, on/off switch and earthed, but we are not electricians so please get it checked before use. Measures 17 inches (43cm).

Harem Dancer Lamp
Lovely Austrian stylised spelter lady wearing harem costume and dancing next to a marbled glass globe shade. The base is of green alabaster and measures 11 x 5 inches (28cm x 13cm). Unsigned but definitely by Lorenzl. Total height is 11 inches (28cm). Condition is very good with just a few minor alabaster scratches. Rewired.

Ref: L836 . . . £695

Spelter Lady Lamp
Gilt French spelter kneeling lady lamp mounted on a stepped black marble base, with crackleglaze shade and recently rewired, (although this must be checked before use). Good condition although a chip to the back corner of the marble base has been repaired and 2 small fault lines to her wrists which I believe are just surface stress marks. Measures 16 inches (41cm) high.

Ref: L841 . . . £395

Pate de Verre Table Lamp
French wrought iron table lamp, which originally came from a shop counter - hence the HR initials to the stem. Orange and blue quality pate de verre shade that looks stunning when lit. It measures 17 inches high by 11.5 wide (43cm x 29). In very good original condition.

Ref: L1289 . . . £565

Terrier Lamp by Rochard
French art deco spelter sitting terrier dog lamp an unsigned piece by Rochard. He is sitting on a portorro marble base and holds a white glass globe shade. In very good vintage used condition. The Butterfly Girl Table Lamp by Sega
Rare French art deco gilt spelter lady table lamp in the form of a fairy. I have never seen another table lamp of this statue but have had the butterfly clock many times. It is by Peter Sega and signed to her skirt. It was made in the early 1930s. Mounted on a marble base that measures 9.5 inches long by 5 inches deep and the total height is 10.5 inches to the top of the ribbed glass shade which sits between her wings (24cm x 12.5cm x 27cm). Condition is vintage and used but good.
