'Youth' by Demetre Chiparus
A lovely terracotta bust of a young girl by the Romanian artist D. H. Chiparus, which is signed on the back. She measures 13 inches high, has stylised hair and is very pretty. Her patina is green and the condition is excellent. This is another of my rare and affordable Chiparus items.

Terracotta Tiger by Carli
Belgian tiger figure - a signed piece, stamped made in Belgium and numbered. A quality piece with fine detailing and mounted on a white striated black marble base which measures 19 inches long, 5.5 inches deep and the tiger is 6 inches high. In excellent condition.

Signed Terracotta Family Group
A family group - a very unusual subject for the period - the signature being a little indistinct, but probably L. Piru. This piece is bronzed patinated terracotta and it is mounted on a white striated black marble base measuring 18 inches long, 8.5 inches deep and 11 inches high. Condition is exceptionally good.

Terracotta by J. Buchs
A nice original French terracotta group - a lady playing ball with her dog - measuring 15 inches by 6.5 inches by 12 inches high, and signed J. Buchs. Condition is good with no apparent damage or repairs.

Terracotta Hunting Scene
A large, signed indistinctly - (Bouchell?), model of an Lady hunting a deer in buff patinated terracotta. She measures approx. 27 inches long, 16 inches high and 6 inches deep, on a white striated black marble base. Condition is excellent with only a tiny chip to the top of the lady's hair and a chip to the underside of the horses rear hoof. Excellent quality.

Large Polar Bear by Arnova
A huge bronze patinated plaster bear with some very stylised detailing. He measures 23 inches long and 12 inches high. He is signed Arnova and numbered 425 to his back foot. Condition is very good with just a few minor age blemishes.

Czech Terracotta Bust
A pretty 7 inch (18cm) terracotta bust with the Czechoslovakia stamp to the underneath, and with a makers mark possibly NKL, but indistinct. Condition is good with a slight mark to the tip of her nose that may have been there from new.

Famous Lemanceau Elephant
The wonderful stylised craquelier geometric elephant, as seen on the cover of The Craquelier Book. He measures 9 x 7 inches (23 x 18cm) and is signed under the glaze on his back leg. The condition is good but he does have a toe nail chip and 2 pin head nicks to his ear.
Recently hired by ITV for filming of the next Poirot series.

Craquelier Lion
A pink tinted crackle glaze lion figure, unmarked but probably by the Lemencau factory. He measures approx 17.5 x 5.5 x 10 inches high (45x14x26cm) and is in very good original condition with no damage or repairs.

Green Ceramic Panther
A French, green ceramic panther in prowling pose - artist unknown - and measuring 19 inches (49cm) long. Condition is very good, but with some white underglaze spots from new.
