Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts Clocks

Nouveau Ball Clock
I believe this unusual clock to be German, and is probably an anniversary clock. Made of wood and metal with brass fittings, and lovely nouveau numerals. The clock does work.

Ref: CL41 . . . £495

The Ultimate Clock Set!
Not for the faint-hearted this one - and I'm not sure where to start! French, Spelter (in the main), unsigned, but by 'Limousin', and what a stunning piece. This could be the most amazing clock set I have ever owned. The clock is mounted in a spelter wall with stylised column detail and flowers cascading everywhere. At the front is a stepped alter with a flaming urn, and around it dance the two lovely ladies. The base is 24 inches (61cm) wide and is of pinky-mauve marble with verdigre front and sides. This detail is echoed on the 2 matching garnitures - which in themselves are absolutely wonderful. Add them to the clock and the whole ensemble is a feast for the eyes and senses. A very large and heavy piece with a real presence.

Ref: CL504 . . . £1,645

Nouveau Plaster Clock
This lovely clock is apparently from the early 20th century and is made of plaster. A signed piece, but the signature is indistinct - but possibly C. Hobolk? It is a large piece measuring nearly 24 inches tall and 10 inches wide and 6 inches deep. A winged lady in long flowing robes, possibly 'Mother Time', standing on a numeral sphere. She is holding a book with the inscription 'Le Temps est cher' (time is precious?). The clock is working but could do with a service or a clean. Condition is very good considering its age and composition, although there is some sign of a possible restoration to one of the top corners of the clock.

Art Deco/Nouveau Clock
Beautiful original period clock with 2 ladies in flowing dresses leaning backwards, each holding a ball. Lovely detailing, good patina, positioned on a marble base. Signed 'Sega' to body of clock and appears to be in working order.
Approx. height 10.5 inches (27cm), width 14.5 inches (37cm), depth 4.5 inches(11cm)

Ref: CLDS100 . . . £645

Wonderful Art Nouveau/Deco Clock attributed to Limousin
This is a lovely French spelter clock with matching garnitures. 2 birds are eating from a basket of fruit. Foliage detailing to clock front and back. Clock face has an enamel finish. 2 different types of marble for the base. Pendulum is missing (easily replaced), but clock does work. Condition is good, few nibbles to marble.
Approx. size of clock: width 18.5 inches (47cm), height 12 inches(30.5cm), depth 4.5 inches (11cm)

Ref: CLDS102 . . . £545

Cloisonne Peacock Clock
French clock set with enamel peacock and sunray bronze panels flanking the clock face. The casing is of green onyx and rosso marble, and the clock door has a bevelled, domed glass. The clock measures 20 inches long, 4.5 inches deep and 11.5 inches high (51 x 11 x 30cm), and is complemented by a pair of matching octagonal garnitures. Condition is very good with just a few of the minor expected nibbles to the marble, and a small repair to the onyx on the bottom right hand corner.
