Huge Seagulls Statue by Davergny
Large and impressive art deco bronze seagulls statue, a signed piece by Davergny. Signed in the bronze. The marble base measures 28 inches long by 8.5 inches deep (71cm x 21.5cm). The total width is 38 inches by 9.5 inches deep and 21.5 inches heigh (96.5cm x 34cm x 55cm). It is stamped to the metal - bronze and is very heavy. Condition is exceptionally good.

Pico Style Panel
Large 26.5 inch square (67cm) art deco panel - a more recent copy of the original Pico panels. Made of resin depicting the Lila Nikolska a dancer from the facade of the Folies Bergere building in Paris. In as new condition.

The Marionettes by Maurice Picaud
Unique original 1920s art deco pen and ink cartoon drawing by Maurice Picaud. Signed in his pseudonym Pico. Pico was the famous designer of the Follies Bergere building in Paris, and was an architect, artist and freelance furniture designer for the Ruhlmann furniture company. Framed in a modern black wooden frame that measures 18 inches by 14 inches (46cm x 35.5cm). Condition is vintage but good with just one small area of paper loss to the left hand end puppet figure by his belt - which is barely noticeable. I also have another pen and ink cartoon drawing by Pico (ask for pics of Art2436).

La Grande Folie by Picaud
Large French art deco poster printed on canvas and dating to the 1970s. The original picture was a poster designed by Maurice Picaud (Pico) and it is modelled on Josephine Baker who was a dancer in the Folies Bergere theatre. Signed E Pico. The actual building of the theatre was also designed by Maurice Picaud. It is framed in a new black wooden frame that measures a large 34 inches high by 24 inches wide (86.5cm x 61cm). In excellent condition and very impressive displayed.

Large Bronze Medal by Turin
Large art deco solid bronze medal by Pierre Turin (1891-1968). He was a French medalist. He studied at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and won the Premier Grand Prix de Rome de gravure en medailles in 1920. Medaille d'honneur at Salon des Artistes francais. A top quality piece by a top artist, modelled as Andromede holding her cuff manicle. Signed P. Turin to the bottom of the medal and to the reverse it reads Republique Franchise Le Minitre des ancient combatants et victims de Guerre and dated 1946. As is ofter the case I believe the medal dates to the 1920s-1930s and was later awarded to the victims of war. It measures a large 2.75 inches in diameter (7cm). It would look fantastic framed. In excellent condition.

Josephine Baker Trinket Dish
Bronze Josephine Baker French art deco onyx trinket dish. It measures 6 inches long and 7.5 inches high by 4 inches deep (15cm x 19cm x 10cm). Condition is vintage and used but good.

Art Deco Bronze Fox by Decoux
Stylised modernist bronze fox by Michele Decoux. Signed in the bronze Decoux and stamped bronze and mounted on a black and white marble base. It measures 15 inches wide by 7 inches deep and the total height is 5.5 inches (38cm x 18cm x 14cm). Condition is vintage but good with just a few minor age related marks as one would expect.

Gloire by Pierre Le Faguays
French green patinated art metal male statue called Gloire and was designed by Pierre Le Faguays in the late 1920s - early 1930s. To the front is a commemorative plaque as he was at one time presented as a gift. The plaque reads Homage aux services rendus a air France. He sits 24.5 inches (62cm) high including the black marble base and his laurel leaf he is holding. The base is 6.5 inches wide by 4 inches deep (16cm x 10cm). In very good vintage condition.

The Lioness
French art deco spelter lioness statue, unsigned but probably by Rochard. Mounted on a modernist base of black and rosso marble with modernist chrome bar detailing to the curved ends. It measures 19.5 inches long by 6.5 inches deep by 7.5 inches high (50cm x 16.5cm x 19cm). Condition is vintage but good with a few chips to the edges of the black marble. Excellent detail for a spelter piece.

Modernist Side Table by Thonet
French walnut modernist side table with chromed tubular legs. Made by Thonet but unsigned. It measures 20 inches in diameter and 24 inches high (51cm x 61cm). In excellent renovated condition.

Walnut circular display cabinet made in the 1930s. Containing three glass shelves with original beige silk wall lining to the back panel. It measures 45.5 inches wide by 49 inches high and 12.5 inches deep. In good used condition.
