Huge Bronze Clock by Liskai Kovats
This is a very large and rare clock featuring an impressive bronze dancer to the top, flanked by stepped onyx columns. The base measures 18 inches long (46cm), 6.5 inches deep (7cm) and with a total height of 19.5 inches (50cm). It is unsigned but attributed to Liskai Kovats (I have had this figure before, signed). The clock face has bronze dotted numerals and a silvered face with bronze bevel. Condition is very good with a few small cracks to the green onyx veneer columns and a few minor chips. Email me for more pics.

Clock by Ato
French art deco amboyne and silvered bronze clock. Made by Leon Hatot in the 1920s. His nickname was Ato and it is signed to the face and clock movement. He is famous for being the first man to produce a battery operated clock in the 1920s. Made of amboyne and rosewood with silvered bronze edge and foot detail. It measures 11 inches wide by 3 inches deep by 7 inches high (28cm x 7.5 cos x 18cm). This clock has its original movement which will require specialist batteries or conversion. Condition is very good.

Ref: CL858 . . . £595

Desk Clock Set
French art deco desk clock set - consists of a removable clock which will free stand on its easel stand, allowing the owner to use the frame as a photo frame if required. To the side stands a silvered bronze removable seal/stamp and the the other side a bakelite pen holder. To the front of the onyx base there is a pen ridge. The clock is made by Deep and I have had it working. It measures 10 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep by 5 inches high (25.5cm x 7cm x 12.5cm). The actual clock measures 6 inches by 4 inches (15cm x 10cm). Condition is vintage but good with a little wear to the metal of the clock surround.

Ref: CL859 . . . £495

Beautiful Marble and Alabaster Bust
A wonderful, almost life size bust made of marble and alabaster signed on the back - V. Mariani. She is a very pretty lady in a floppy deco style hat with subtle colouration to lips and cheeks and is mounted on an ovular marble base. Her condition is excellent and she is very heavy. Measures 17 inches high, 16.5 inches wide and 9 inches deep.

Ref: F483 . . . £1,995

Lady and Rag Doll by 'Scolis'
A real beauty by 'Scolis' and signed on the base. French and made of spelter, this very unusual figure has wonderful detailing, notably the way her dress spreads across the brown marble base. She is wearing lovely shoes with bows, and clutches a rag doll. The base measures 22 inches (56cm) in length and she is 13 inches (33cm) high.

Ref: F352 . . . £765

'Age Primitif' by Chiparus
This huge French spelter male warrior is an unsigned Chiparus, and measures nearly 30 inches long and 22 inches high by 7 inches deep (75cm x 56cm x 18cm). It has an green-bronze patina and the base is of Belgian Black marble. Condition is very good but with a chip to the back corner of the marble and so he is priced accordingly. Email me for more pics.
There is a connection between J. De Roncourt and Chiparus as I have had this piece signed by both artists. It can date this to 1935 as I have the original makers brochure - Societe Francaise des Bronzes and Fontes D'Art.

Ref: F950 . . . £1,595

Judith by Goldscheider
A large terracotta Bohemian lady warrior measuring 25.5 inches (64cm) tall with a 7.5 inch (19cm) diameter base. This piece is marked Goldscheider to the under/inside and probably dates from about 1900. Unsigned but I believe by the artist 'E. Tell' Exhibited for Arthur Goldscheider in Rue Paradis. The condition is excellent with only slight minor ageing to the patina as one would expect.
