Egyptian Bust by Caspi
Beautiful terracotta bust of an Egyptian Queen with serpent headdress with green-bronze patina and some gilt highlighting. Mounted on a black marble base and made by the Belgian artist, Caspi in the late 1920's. Excellent original condition. Email me for more pics. 14 inches (36cm) high.

Mephistopheles by Max Le Verrier
Wonderful and extremely rare terracotta bust of Mephistopheles made by Le Verrier during the 1920's and measuring 17 inches high (43cm). Mephistopheles was an agent of the devil according to the legend of Faustus. He was a man who sold his soul to the devil, hence the horns and pointed ears. Condition is excellent with just a postage stamp sized dark mark to the side of the base probably caused by a sticker and a couple of very small chips to the edge of the base. An extremely rare find.

A large terracotta figural group by and signed Silvestre to the base and along with a Paris founders stamp. This famous piece measures a large 32.5 inches long, 8 inches deep, 13 inches high and is mounted on a wood base. Condition is excellent.

A pretty terracotta lady on an 18 inch base with stylised deco flowers all over. Signed by the artist 'Chauvin' with a Suisse Editions Paris Foundry stamp. She is 12 inches tall.
