Rare Lady Bust by Chiparus
Extremely rare terracotta bust mounted on a canted wood base measuring 21 inches by 6.5 inches and with a total height of 14.5 inches (54 x 17 x 37cm). Signed D. H. Chiparus to the back of her arm. Condition is very good.

Diana the Archer by Cipriani
A stunning and large French terracotta figure by Cipriani, holding a metal bow. The base measures 25.5 inches by 5.5 inches and total height is 20.5 inches (65cm x 14cm x 53cm). Signed on the base U. Cipriani, she has a dark green patina over a bronzed base, thus appearing to be green patinated bronze. Very good condition with a slight mark on her thumb. Candeur by De Ranieri
A pretty French art nouveau terracotta lady bust titled Candeur. Designed and signed A. De Ranieri (Aristide De Ranieri). His items are highly sought after due to the quality. In very good original condition. Measures 11 inches high by 10 inches wide and 5 inches deep (28cm x 25.5cm x 13cm). In exceptionally good condition with just one flake to one petal.

Huge Terracotta Dancer by Marcell Guillard
Crackle glazed terracotta theatrical dancer. Made in France and beautifully hand painted in pastel colours. Stamped under the base - Editions Etling Paris and Marcell Guillard. Guillard, Marcell born 1896 - Guillard produced work for the Salon of Independence. He also formed a workshop with Andre Fau in Boulogne-on-Seine, France during the 1920's. At this time many top artistes worked for Guillard and Fau and Therse including Wuilleumier, Leyritz, Guiraud-Riviere, Martel, Tribout, Goupy and Godard. When the company folded in 1926 Guillard continued with the financial help of the Etling company. Etling being famous in their own rights as a foundry producing bronzes, terracottas, glass and ceramic ink pots, bookends, night lights and perfume burners. Many top prolific sculptural artists already worked in conjunction with with the Etling studio, such as Becquerel, Granger, Guiraud-Riviere, Bouraine, Colinet, Le Faguays, Lucille Sevin and Demetre Chiparus to name a few. The items produced after 1926 often bear the Etling and the Guillard foundry stamps and are sometimes also signed by the artist. These pieces are highly sought after worldwide and command high prices from collectors due to the quality and rarity of the items. This very rare piece measures a huge 17 inches long by 5 deep by 17 high (43cm x 12.5 x 43.5). Condition is vintage but excellent.

Rare Bust by Karl Grossl
Extremely rare art deco bust by Karl Grossl, who was a freelance artist who worked for Goldscheider,hence the sausages curls. Stamped to the base Made in Czechoslovakia and model number is 1090. She measures 9 inches high by 4 inches deep by 6 inches wide (23cm x 10cm x 15cm). Condition is good but there is a possible old firing mark across her wrist which is barely visible and does not go underneath.
