La Force by Bazzoni
Stunning French bronze, 3 dimensional man with 2 dimensional horse. A very unusual and powerful piece by Bazzoni, signed to the mans foot. It is mounted on an ovular Belgian black marble base that measures 25.5 inches by 7 (65cm x 17.5) and the total height is 15 inches (38cm). In exceptionally good condition.

Vaslav Nijinsky - Ballet Russe by Bouraine
A very rare silvered bronze statuary group by Marcel Andre Bouraine signed to the portorro marble base. This group was undoubtedly modelled as Nijinsky and probably from his performance in L'Apres midi d'un Faune, for the Ballet Russe in 1912. It measures 22 inches long by 5.5 inches deep by 12.2 inches high (56cm x 14cm x 31cm). Condition is very good.

Drunken Sailor
Austrian enamel painted bronze sailor drinking from a lucite bottle. Total height is 8.75 inches (22cm). Stamped with Made in Austria. Good vintage condition with some chips to the white enamel paint of his uniform.

Victory by Oulene
This lovely large bronze male bust is hernia heavy! He seems to be a very determined man, carrying a flag over his shoulder. It is signed on the figure and stamped 'bronze' and has a typical green-bronze patina. He is mounted on a 22 inch Belgian Black marble base, and stands 14 inches high. Wonderful jaw-jutting stuff. Signed by the artist Alexandre Oulene. I also have the smaller size version of this figure.

Bronze Dinanderie Charioteer Lamp by Offner
Extremely rare Charioteer group, complete with horses and lighting. This amazing bronze group is French, by M. Offner and it is signed to the back of the figure. The group is mounted on a base of cream and brown onyx which measures 18 inches by 6 inches and total height is 17 inches (46 x 15 x 43cm). The charioteer and 2 horses are in dinanderie (enamelled bronze) and the horses have a silvered patina and brown enamelled patches. To the rear are 4 marble columns with silvered bronze arms and enamelled bronze light shade cups also in dinanderie. Condition is good with a few minor base nibbles as one would expect after nearly 100 years.

Ref: F1091 . . . £1,895

The Masked Ball by Caurines
Rare French silvered bronze figural group of a masked ball. The man is holding a theatrical mask with a lady dramatically kneeling at his feet. Mounted on a marble base. It measures 15 inches high by 16 inches wide by 7 inches deep (38cm x 41cm x 17.5cm). Signed indistinctly in the marble to one end of the base - either Caurines or Causines, possibly an Italian artist. Condition is good with some expected ageing to the patina.

Ref: B470 . . . £2,295

Chryselaphantine Pierrot Boy
French art deco bronze and ivory boy pierrot statue. He has the most amazing zig zag dinanderie enamelling to the back of his jacket in original vivid colour. Unsigned and artist unknown but possibly Lemoine. He measures 5.75 inches high (14.5cm). He is mounted on a Brazilian onyx base. Condition is very good.

Ref: B612 . . . £1,395

The Dance Set by Le Faguays
French art deco green patinated bronze dancing couple. Unsigned but definitely by Pierre Le Faguays. Each is mounted on a marble base that measures 14 inches long 5.5 inches deep and the total heights are 18 inches (35.5cm x 14cm x 46cm). These statues were sold when new with an option for a pair on one single base or as single pieces. It is unusual to get a pair which are each on their own bases. Condition is excellent.
