Our current stock of table and figural lamps including spelter and bronze figural lamps and some larger marble and spelter lamps suited to a sideboard or heavy shelf. Although many of our lamps are professionally rewired, we cannot guarantee the wiring on these items as they could be up to 100 years old, and they MUST be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

'Offrande'
A large green patinated spelter lady lamp mounted on a black marble base measuring 50cm long and 11cm wide. Total height is 31cm high and widest width across the moulded glass shade is 18.5cm. Recently rewired and with an inline on/off switch. Signed to the socle, Fayral.

Rare Mantis Lamp by Lindsey B
This resin table lamp is the extremely rare Mantis lamp. Made by the mannequin designer Lindsey B in 1984. They are extremely rare as they were so expensive when new, Mantis cost £600 in 1984. I have never owned or seen another one of her. She is mounted on a weighted metal base which was made by the Siegel mannequin company. The vivid green patina is probably not original to the lamp and it appears to have been rewired and is fitted with an on/off switch. She is signed to the back and looks fantastic when lit. It measures a large 29 inches tall by 19.5 inches wide by 17 inches deep (74cm x 49cm x 43.5cm). Condition is very good with just a few minor age related cracks to the patina due to age.

Le Verrier Table Lamp
Green patinated art metal lady lamp on a tall black and white marble pedestal. It measures 17.25 inches high by 4.75 inches wide (44cm x 12cm). Recently fitted with a new black silk flex and an in-line on/off switch. Condition is used but good. Signed Max Le Verrier.

Rare Table Lamp by Sybille May
Art Deco cubist Egyptian bronze lady lamp, a signed piece by Sybille May, circa 1925. Signed Sybille May in the bronze to the back of her skirt. A bare breasted green and gilt bronze nude holding an original alabaster shade above her head. Mounted on a black marble base. It measures 16.5 inches high by 10 inches wide by 5.5 inches deep (42.5cm x 25cm x 14cm). The condition is good with just a few small edge nibbles to the marble and a tiny chip to the top edge of the shade. Sybille May was an English artist who worked in France. She was a member La Stele and Evolution and many of her pieces were produced by Arthur Goldscheider and by Editeur d’art Albert Buisson. She produced cubist ceramic items along with her friend Edouard Cazaux. And she also worked with Pierre Le Faguays. She had items on display at the Arts Decoratifs Exposition in Paris in 1925. The condition is good with just a few small edge nibbles to the marble and a tiny chip to the top edge of the shade.

Pair of Table Lamps by Hettier and Vincent
Rare French Art Deco table lamps with chromed metal bases and frosted glass ice-cream shades by Hettier and Vincent (although unsigned). They each measures 11 inches high by 8 inches in diameter (28cm x 20cm). Wired with a new silk flex. Condition is vintage but good.

Nausicca by Le Faguays
French lady lamp, made in the 1930s and signed Fayral (a pseudonym used by Pierre Le Faguays). The dark green patinated metal lady steps on the a lamp base with a mirrored pond detail and is flanked by two globe lamp shades. Looks stunning when lit. It measures a total height of 17.5 inches (44cm) and the base measures 10.25 inches wide by 9 inches deep (26cm x 23cm). Condition is very good with just a couple of tiny age related marks.

French Spelter Lady Lamp
Kneeling lady lamp in Egyptian style, and unsigned piece but probably by Moreau. It measures approx 13.5 inches high (34cm). Condition is very good.

Whacky Dog Lamp
Unusual chrome coiled dog lamp, unsigned bur probably Austrian as very Hagenauer in its style. It measures approx. 11 inches long (28cm) by 9 high (23cm) and 4 inches deep. Condition is vintage and good with some minor age wear to the chrome.

Bronze Flame Dancer by Janle
Extremely rare 2-dimensional bronze figure with silvered patina, signed to the base by the French sculptor Janle. The base is a 12 inch by 2.5 inch (31 x 7cm) verdigris marble base and the amber torchere is mounted in a bronze holder. Height is 16 inches (41cm). Condition is good with some age wear to the patina.

Modernist Clowns Lamp
A modernist pierotte and pierrette geometric lamp of bronze and leaning against a which globe shade. The lamp is unsigned, but by Exe, and measures 12 inches high and with a black marble base measuring 10 inches by 5 inches. Condition is good but the base has a couple of natural fissures and there is minor wear to the patina where the bronze is showing through.
