		<title>Antoine Dubois &#8211; Ceramic Clock Set</title>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Rare Belgian art deco ceramic clock set made by the Belgian company of La Céramique Montoise in Mons.</p>
<p>Hand decorated in the studio of Antoine Dubois (1869-1949).</p>
<p>This clock set was made in the late 1920s - early 1930s.</p>
<p>Serial/model number to the reverse.</p>
<p>The clock measures 17 inches 43.5cm) wide, 13.5 inches (34.5cm) high and 4 inches 10cm) deep.</p>
<p>Each side dish measures 6.5 inches (16.5cm) square and 12 inches (30cm) high.</p>
<p>Condition is good but currently the clock isn't  working.</p>
<p>La Ceramique Montoise was founded in 1920 by Antoine Dubois, Henri and Felix Souweine, Jules Deprez and Samuel Wolff. The company was taken over by Dubois son in 1949 and finally closed soon after the death of Dubois in 1950.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>An Art Deco figural gilt bronze and marble Egyptian three-piece clock garniture.<br />
French, circa 1925.<br />
With two Egyptian female figures in gilt bronze, standing upon the rectangular footed Rosso marble and pink onyx base, their arms out-stretched above them holding the clock, with two figural garnitures, original pendulum with stylised basket of flowers and key.</p>
<p>Egyptomania was a strong inspiration for the art deco artists. A full chapter about this in the very good book about art deco by Charlotte Benton, Tim Benton and Ghislaine wood. (Page 40 to 50).</p>
<p>Clock: 12.75 inches (32.5cm) wide, 5 inches deep (12.5cm) and 14.75 inches (37.5cm) high.</p>
<p>Garnitures: 6.75 inches (17cm) wide, 5.5 inches (14cm) deep and 9.25 inches (23.5cm) high.</p>
<p>Condition is vintage and used but very good.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>A rare early Goldscheider time piece dating c1890. Terracotta and the Pre-Raphaelite figures have earthenware heads and hands. There is a 'Goldscheider Wien' marking to rear but no artists signature.</p>
<p>Condition is very good, possible repair to one finger of one of the ladies. Original key and clock is working.</p>
<p>Width 22.5 inches (57cm), height 22.5 inches (57cm), depth 8 inches (20cm).</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>French Spelter clock, unsigned but by Limousin.</p>
<p>The clock is mounted in a spelter wall with stylised column detail and flowers cascading everywhere.</p>
<p>At the front is a stepped alter with a flaming urn, and around it dance the two ladies.</p>
<p>The base is of pinky-mauve marble with verdigris front and sides.</p>
<p>This detail is echoed on the 2 matching side pieces.</p>
<p>Very good working condition.</p>
<p>Clock measures: 25 inches (63.5cm) wide, 11.5 inches (29.5cm) deep, 18 inches (46cm) high.</p>
<p>Side pieces measure: 6.5 inches (16cm) wide, 6 inches (15cm) deep, 13 inches (33cm) high.</p>
