Modernist Art Deco black galalalith and diamonte necklace by Jakob Bengel.

The total length of the necklace is 18 inches (46cm) from clasp to claps. Although can be hung to a shorter length.

In excellent condition.

German Art Deco green galalith and chrome twist necklace.

Made by Jakob Bengel in the early 1930s.

17 inches (43cm) from clasp to clasp.

Condition is vintage and used but good. There may be one metal ring missing which barely shows.

The book is called Art Deco Schmuck, schmuck being the German word for costume jewellery.

Written in dual language (English and German).

Filled with colour plates and with individual descriptions of many of Bengel’s best works.

Also with a comprehensive history of the factory/museum.

1930s German art deco blue and black enamel necklace.

In typical Jakob Bengel maerwerk (brickwork) design.

The bracelet measures 7 inches (17.5cm) from clasp to clasp.

The necklace measures 16 inches (41cm) from clasp to clasp and 1.25 inches (3cm) high to the central panel.

In very good vintage condition.
