There is a metal plate under the base that reads S. Salvadori, Firenze 1955.

In good original condition with a few minor nicks to the paint on the base. A very rare and impressive piece.

A bronze patinated terracotta statue - an unsigned piece by Jan & Joël Martel (1896-1966).

Known as the Accordian Player.

One can be seen in the Les Craqueles Art Deco book on page 67 on  ashelf in a picture of the brothers on the right hand side.

14.75 inches (37.5cm) high.

Condition is good with just a couple of minor chips to the base.
