Made in 1938 and designed by Kurt Goebel for the Goldscheider company.

Stamped under the base Goldscheider Wien and model number 8339.

Similar can be seen in the large Philipp Goldscheider book on page 492.

6.5 inches (16.5cm) high.

In excellent condition.

12.5 inches (31.5cm) high.

Condition is good with some losses to paint (as is usual for Compton pieces).

Very good vintage condition.

He has the words City Sport in raised letters to the front of the base and marked Depose to the reverse.

He measures 17.5 inches (44cm) high.

Condition is good with just a few minor age related marks.

It was discovered when emptying a barn at the now sold Le Verrier family home. This is probably a prototype that never went into production.

There is a signature on the base that looks like Joanny-Dunand but cannot be sure.

It is a one off and Le Verrier family owned piece.

Circa 1920s.

16 inches (41cm) high.

Good condition with signs of age.
