Mounted on a black marble base and stamped to the metal Le Verrier and bearing the LeVerrier foundry stamp.

It measures 4.5 inches (11.5cm) high, 3 inches (7.5cm) wide, 4 inches (10cm) deep.

Condition is excellent.

His title is the Joker and he can be seen in the Roland Paris book by Alberto Shayo on page 172.

He was oaring ally made in 2 sizes and this is the smaller one - measuring 8 inches (2.5cm) high.

The figure spins around to show the card suits - hearts, spades diamonds and clubs.

Signed to the base R. Paris.

In good vintage used condition.

Modelled on a lion at the Paris zoo - garden d’acclimation.

Modelled as a male gladiator walking with his beast.

Can be seen in the Le Verrier book on page 138/139.

This heavy statue is mounted on a Belgian black marble base that measures 23 inches (58.5cm), 9 inches (23cm) deep with front canted corners The total heigh of the male is 22 inches (56cm) including the base.

Condition is excellent.
