This is the famous sausage curl wall mask by Goldscheider.

I believe there were three sizes made and this is the largest.

Produced in the early 1930’s and marked to the back Goldscheider Wien, made in Austria and model number 6427.

She is a larger model and measures 10.5 inches (27cm) high.

In very good condition.

Made in 1936.

This stunning terracotta mask is stamped to the reverse with the Goldscheider Wien mark and  stamped Germany. This means it was made in 1936 but as an unsold stock item, then in 1938 the made in Germany stamp was added when the Nazis took over the company. numbered with a model number 7696.

See the Goldscheider book on page 468 and the Pinas book on page 172

12.75 inches (32cm) high.

Condition is very good.

Beautifully hand painted headscarf with autumnal patterning.

Hand signed inside “Lenci, Made in Italy”.

These masks were produced in Turin from 1927.

11.5 (29cm) inches high.

Very good condition with a tiny 2cm firing crack to the rear barely worthy of a mention (see pictures).

This same lady is shown on the front facade of the Folies Bergere building in Paris and the building was designed by Maurice Picaud (PICO).

The name of the dancer depicted in the plaque was Nina Nickolska who danced naked with veils.

Mounted in a black wooden frame.

28.5 inches (71cm) wide, 2.75 inches (7cm) deep, 28.5 inches (71cm) high.

Very good condition.
