The original of this art deco poster was made in 1927 and designed by Maurice Picaud (Pico – 1900 – 1977). The poster reads Folies Bergere and La Grande Folie Hyper Revue de Mr Lemanrchand, matinees – samedis, dimanches & fetes a 2.30. I believe the lady is modelled as Josephine Baker who was one of the Folies Bergere artists and performers. This poster was produced as a top quality cotton paper reproduction in 2018 and was made in a limited edition in Paris. Framed in a modern contemporary gold/grey frame and protected by glass.
