Modernist Snake Necklace

Red galalith necklace with chunky snake chain. This is an unusual snake necklace by Bengel, made in the early 1930s. There is no clasp it is this long in order to tie it in various ways, double knot, knot or just wrap it twice around the neck and let the tassel ends hang on either side. Its up to the wearer to be inventive and you can change it each time you wear it.
