Plaster prototype Myng bust from the workshop of Lindsey B. This is the first and original one she made to take moulds from, it is signed to the bottom edge of the back panel and dated 1984 with a copyright mark on it.
Interestingly, the final version of this product didn’t have the groves across the top of the head as this one has.
I recently cleared her old workshop and this was one of the pieces. Green wash finish where she was trying different paint techniques.
It measures 13.5 inches (34.5cm) high.
Condition is good but not perfect as it is the prototype.
