Warthog by Lemanceau

Rare 1920s French Art Deco craquele glaze warthog signed Charles Lemanceau for the Faiences D’art St Clement factory.

Stamped France to the underside and indistinctly signed Lemanceau very faintly to the rear right leg (picture available upon request).

A similar one can be viewed in Les Craqueles book page 208

9 inches (23cm) wide by 6 inches (15.5cm) high.

Good condition with very small patches of glaze loss to his snout and one ear.
