Rare Wall Plaque by Rowley Gallery
Large and rare wall plaque of Diane on a unicorn. The figures are made of gesso which has been silver and gold leafed and mounted on a wooden backing board. It was made by the Rowley Gallery, Church Street Kensington in the late 1920s and bears a Rowley label to the back. The board measures 36 inches in diameter (92cm). I have one of these myself which is not for sale but over the years have been asked by many clients to sell it. This one is only the 2nd one I have ever seen and it is for sale, a rare opportunity to own one. Condition is vintage but good.

Folies Bergere plaque by Maurice (Pico) Picaud
This plaque is made of Gesso (plaster) and measures approx. 26 inches square. It is made from a cast which was taken from the entrance porch of the Folies Bergere building in Paris in 1926, which depicts the dancer Nina Nickolska. The original is of concrete and was designed by Maurice Picaud. These plaques were made in a limited number for commemorative purposes and distributed as gifts to the members of Pico's family, and apparently for sale to patrons of the theatre. The amount made is unknown to me. It is gilded in very high relief, and is mounted in a quality frame of oak which is quite heavy. The condition is good with some minor ageing as one would expect and it is possible that this particular plaque has been regilded or varnished at some time in the past.

Art Deco Deer Panels
These resin deer panels are copies of the originals that were over the lift shaft in the Derry and Toms departmental store (Biba) in Oxford Street London. I have them in either gold or silver. They are just panels and so would need to be framed or have hanging wire attached. There is a right and left hand one with different designs. Condition is very good. They each measure approximately 16 inches square (41cm).
