Signed to the bronze F. Focht and bearing the foundry stamp - Bronze Chardon to the reverse.

Frederic Focht 1879 - 1937 - his work is now highly sought after and commands high prices.

This bust is mounted on a stepped Belgian black marble base.

Condition is very good with just a couple of small chips to the marble base.

14 inches (36cm) high and the base measures 12 inches (35.5cm) wide and 5 inches (12.5cm) deep.

I believe made in 3 sizes this is the middle size.

Signed in the bronze P Le Faguays and I believe made by L N Paris J L' for the French foundry Les Neveux de J. Lehmann.

22 inches (56cm) wide. 14.5 inches (37cm) high (to the end of his spear), 4.25 inches (10.5cm) deep.

In excellent condition.

I also have the terracotta version of this same statue, priced at £995 (OF262).

15.75 inches (40cm) high, 26 inches (66cm) wide, 6 inches (15cm) deep.
