Advertising Poster by Maurice Picaud

French Art Deco original art deco advertising poster. Advertising L’Auto magazine and made during the 1920s.

Designed by Maurice Picaud (PICO) (1900 – 1977) who is famous for designing the facade of the Folies Berger building in Paris. He also worked as a designer for the Ruhlmann furniture company in Paris. Pico also designed many other cartoon type posters during the deco years.

I have never seen this poster before. The poster is titled Lisez tous L Auto (you should read all of L Auto).

It has been mounted in a modern black frame.

It measures 22.75 inches (58cm) wide x 15 inches (38cm) high.

In excellent condition.
