American Art Deco Bookends

Wonderful Egyptian styled art deco book ends.

Bronzed patinated spelter with coloured detailing.

Apparently by M. Peinlich, early 20th century.

Condition is good but with some patina wear to original finish.

Approx. height 7 inches (17cm inches), width 5 inches (12.5cm ).

A similar pair, although without the coloured detailing, was submitted for auction at Bonhams of London for the Egyptian Revival Sale, January 2007.
