1920’s-1930s French beaded evening bag. Predominantly brown with celluloid tortoiseshell top section and beaded handle. There is a made in France label to the inside which is made of brown silk with an inner pocket.
It measures approximately 17 inches (43cm) from the top of the handle to the bottom of the fringe.
Condition is very good with possibly a couple of beads missing from the fringe but not obvious. The pull catch to the top does not fully function all the time and so it opens sometimes – possibly easily rectified. Still a very lovely and affordable bag to add to your collection.
