Rare ceramic nude Art Deco lady made by the Stele Evolution company in France and designed by Sibylle May.
May was part of Arthur Goldscheider launched group of artists called La Stele and L’Evolution and was known for her stylised and cubist statues.
Made in 1930.
Made in France and signed Sibylle May to the top of the base.
Marked under the base with the evolution marking. It also has the remnants of an old shop sticker with a stylised dog on it.
5.5 inches (14cm) wide, 4.25 inches (10.5cm) deep, 7.75 inches (19.5cm) high.
In good vintage condition.
