An art nouveau ceiling light originally made for gas lighting and with its original gas fittings, taps and ceramic heat shields still in situ. The original galleries show the name NICO No.21 stamped to them and the main stem of the lamp is very long so would have hung from a high ceiling originally, although this could easily be shortened. Excellent quality. I have three of these converted brass gas ceiling lights which may be by Benson.
Very good original condition.
