Basket Weave Metal Handbag

A
1950’s American chrome and gold basket weave handbag. Of flared box shape.  Inside it is lined in black satin card.

Similar bags can be seen in the Plastic handbags book by Kate Dooner. Probably by Dorset-Rex.

It measures approximately 3.5 inches (9cm) high to the top of the lid and 7 inches (18cm) to the top of the metal handle.

Condition good but used and vintage. There is a bit of chrome loss to the catch.
