An original art deco club chair from the Biba shop in South Kensington. Its from a set of original 1930s chairs that Biba bought in bulk in the 1960s and recovered them for use in the shop. I even remember sitting on them in the store. I have had this one totally renovated and re upholstered in a green art deco fan upholstery fabric. I have several others of these same chairs, some with original old Biba floral fabric on but they are in used condition.
22.5 inches (57cm) wide, 32.5 inches (82cm) high to the top of the back panel and seat height is 17 inches (43cm).
Very good condition.
