Small hand painted art deco butterfly costume dancer statue – its name is Gerfangener Vogel which translates to “captured bird”
Made by Lorenzo and signed to the rear.

Made in several sizes (3, we believe), this is the smallest.
Marked under the base Goldscheider wien.
Model 6600.
Modelled on the German actress Niddy Impekoven who danced wearing a costume with butterfly wings in the 1920s. We also have the large lamp of this statue at the time of writing (CH2102).
Similar statue can be seen in the Goldscheider book page 435 and page 118 of the Pinas book.
8.25 inches (21cm) high, 7 inches (17.5cm) wide, 3.25 inches (8cm) deep.
