Cigarette Box by Sudre

A
French wooden cigarette box with chrome hand painted enamelled sailor, signed Sudre to the back. He is standing in front of the ships wheel and compass which are attached to a chrome plate that slides to allow the cigarettes to pop up from the top. To the side of the back panel is a stand which originally would have held a lighter which is no longer present.

It measures 5.5 inches (14cm) long andy 5.25 inches (13.5cm) high.

Condition is vintage and used but good.
