French bronze art deco Spanish dancer, a large statue by Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet (1880 – 1950, born Belgium).
A rare statue that I have never seen before.
Silver and gilt patina with original dinanderie to her shawl.
Mounted on a portorro marble base that measures 4.5 inches (11.5cm) high.
The statue measures 14 inches (36cm) wide, 4.5 inches (11.5cm) deep and a total of 14 inches (61cm) high.
Signed in the bronze.
It needs to be displayed in front of a mirror as the back is as beautiful as the front.
Condition is very good but with some very slight silvering loss to the base.
