A pair of heavy white earthenware bookends from the Arts and Crafts period, unmarked but apparently by Compton Potteries. Male archers with green, yellow and brown tones.

Very good original condition with minor ageing to the patina.

 7 inches (18cm) wide, 7.25 inches (18.5cm) high.
