Danse Paienne – Derenne

This is a spelter disc dancer by Derenne – a pseudonym used by Marcel Bouraine.

She was made at the Le Verrier foundry in Paris during the 1930’s and is mounted on a black marble base.

The metal socle bears the signature.

We believe the front disc has been broken and repaired in the past as a crack appears visible, other than that its in very good condition.

10.25 inches (26cm) high.
