Diane and Dog by Rivoire

Iconic and highly sought after French art deco silvered bronze statue by Raymond Leon Rivoire. Signed in the bronze and bearing Susses Freres Paris and foundry stamp.

A life size version of this same statue was featured in the Grand Salon of the ocean liner L’Atlantique in 1930 (see pic).

The base measures 23 inches (59cm) long, 5.5 inches (14cm) deep and 22 inches high (56cm).
