Double Eagle Car Mascot

American stylised double eagle car mascot (hood ornament).

I believe probably from a 1956 Chevrolet.

There is a blue band painted to the side panels.

Removed from a hood and in used condition with some expected pitting to the chrome.

15.5 inches (39cm) long, 6.75 inches (17cm) high to the top of the wings.
