Emor Globe Radio

Circular modernist cast aluminium and chromed metal with a pedestal support and tubular column with a terrestrial globe radio.

The tuning scale forms the equator line. The controls take the form of a flush sleeve on the column below the globe.

Sadly only one radio station appears to be picking up signal, although I believe this to be an easy fix. Extremely rare and desirable.

The design was created to eliminate the use of knobs and buttons usually found on a radio of that period.

Manufactured in Kilburn, UK in the 1940’s just after WWII.

For a radio enthusiast and comes with a copy of its information brochure.

12 inches (30.5cm) wide and 20 inches (51cm) high.

Good condition although we do not guarantee working condition and sold as a decorative piece.

We do however have a short video of it working – available on request.
