Extremely Rare Bust by Chiparus

Small French Art Deco bronze bust of Lullier – the wife of Demetre Chiparus.

Possibly a one off but definitely modelled on his wife – I have never seen this bust before.

Solid bronze with enamelled coloured high lights in green, red and black to her cloche hat.

Signed Chiparus to the back and stamped bronze.

Mounted on a Belgian black marble base.

6 inches (15cm) total height.

Generally good condition but some repairs are visible on the marble base.
