Mick Milligan otherwise known as Micko was a British jewellery designer who also made miniature sculptures. He primarily worked in an Art Nouveau and Art Deco style. Famous for designing for Liberty & Co. Perhaps best known for creating a controversial model of a space ship which was to be used on the cover of a blind faith album cover.
Milligan was a close friend of Eric Clapton who purchased a ruby and diamond pendant which was shown in Dec 1972 issue of vogue magazine. Clapton gifted this to his wife Pattie Boyd. Clapton commissioned more jewellery items from Milligan in the early 1980s for Pattie and these were sold by Christies in 2024 in the Pattie Boyd Collection sale.
