English hand painted ceramic fish server set by Shorter and Sons (husband of Clarice Cliff).
The 8 piece set consists of a large plate that measures 15 inches (38cm) long, 11.5 inches (30cm) wide. 6 smaller plated that measure 9 inches (23cm) long, 8.5 inches (22cm) wide. A lidded Tureen that measures 10.5 inches (27cm) long, 8.5 inches (22cm) wide.
All items are stamped Shorter and Sons.
Condition is good but there is an old regaled lip edge to the underside of the tureen lid (this does not show when the lid is on the dish).
