Made in the early 1930s in Idar Obenstein Germany by the Jakob Bengel company.
Hand painted with blue enamel detail. Each single brick is bolted together using nuts and bolts.
It measures 1 inch (2.5cm) wide to the front centre and is 18 inches (46cm) long from clasp to clasp.
Similar ones can be seen in the Bengel books and in the museum.
Condition. Is vintage and used but good with just a little wear to the blue enamelling as one would expect after nearly 100 years.
