Georges Toste – Girl with Lamb

French stylised dark green patinated bronze statue of a girl hugging a lamb.

Signed to the base Georges Toste, which I believe was a pseudonym used by Georges Coste.

Coste won a medal at the Salon des Artistes Paris in 1925.

Circa 1928.

Condition is very good.

18.5 inches (47cm) long, 4.75 inches (12cm) deep and 10.5 inches (27cm) high.
