Terracotta nude signed Guerbe, wife of Pierre Le Faguays. She is crouching on a pedestal with cascading grapes and hanging bunches of grapes on over her head. Signed in the base and marked Editeur Max Le Verrier foundry.
There were two statues made – this Autumn one and another Printemps (Spring) version. One could buy either or as a pair. Produced I believe by the Le Verrier foundry.
I also have the cream crackle glaze version of this same statue.
