Horse by Le Jan for Le Verrier

A very rare french art metal solo horse statue made by the Le Verrier foundry during the 1920s.

Other statues we own of this horse come with a maiden figure so it is very rare to see this without the maiden.

The statue is mounted on a sand and Rosso Verona marble base.

Also shown is an original negative from the Le Verrier foundry showing the statue with the maiden.

Very good condition.

17 inches (43cm) high, 19 inches (48cm) wide, 6.25 inches (16cm) deep.
