Rare huge almost life size Art Deco hand painted terracotta bust – by Goldscheider.
Made in 1939, model number 8075.
Designed by Kurt Goebel a freelance artist who worked with Goldscheider. On many of their busts and wall masks.
The Goebel pieces have an almost oriental look to them.
Stamped under the base Goldscheider Wien, made in Austria and bearing the model number. Information on this model can be found in the Fillip Goldscheider book on page 481.
Condition is very good.
