French art deco silvered bronze panther and deer group mounted on a marble and onyx base. Signed Gual in the foliage.

Jaume Sabartes Gual – although Spanish born and a friend of Picasso, he produced his art deco sculptures in Paris.

Condition is very good with just a couple of tiny marble nicks to the base.

10 inches (26cm). Base measures approx. 22 inches  (56cm) long, 6 inches (15cm) deep.
