Johnny Bellhop Jewellery Stand

1940s American art deco bellhop ideal for a jewellery/earrings stand. Most of these Johnny figures are cigarette boxes, ashtrays and cruet set stands Designed and produced by Chase for the Phillip Morris cigarette company as an advertising piece. He is named after Johnny Roventini who starred in the successful 1930’s ‘Call for Phillip Morris’ campaign.

He stands approx. 6.5in tall (16.5cm).

Condition is used and vintage but good with some signs of ageing as one would expect.
