Karl Grossl for Keramia

A
Czechoslovakian art deco wall mask designed by Karl Grossl for Keramia and made in the 1930’s. Bears strong resemblance to Austrian Werkstatte pieces by Goldscheider. This is due to the fact the Grossl designed for Goldscheider and he studied in Vienna. He also designed for Keramos. Works by Grossl are now becoming more difficult to find and are highly desirable.

She measures approx. 9 inches (23cm) tall and 5 inches wide (12.5cm).

In very good condition.
