Large Panther Marchant by Maurice Prost (1894-1967)

This French stylised panther was made in 3 sizes and this is the largest version.

I also have the smaller version shown in the last picture (B755) as both a statue and as a desk tidy/inkwell set (B629).

It has a black patina and is signed to the black granite base M. Prost. This base may be a replacement.

25.5 inches (65cm) wide, 12 inches (30.5cm) high.

In very good condition.
